MY VISIT TO APOSTOLIC, IMMEDIATE PLANS AND QUOTE.

6 OCTOBER 2013 MY VISIT TO APOSTOLIC, IMMEDIATE PLANS AND QUOTE. On Wednesday. 2 October, I managed to visit the Apostolic Society, whose President, Margaret Buckle, had financed my work with the Blind Project during the last six months of my time in Korca. The Society has taken an interest in the Albanian Mission since we began in 2009 and I have experienced support and interest at every minute. All the staff expressed delight in hearing about the work and loved the little Powerpoint on the places we visited and the photographs of the photos of the blind and their carers. When I told them i have at least one invitation to return to Korca every day, they immediately got a form for me to make that request!!!! I said - "Not now, but maybe a short term project at some stage, if the Lord want it". And we left it at that. A quote that caught my eye and heart during the week - ".......always, if we have faith, a door will open for us, not perhaps one that we ourselves would ever have thought of, but one that will ultimately prove good for us." A.J.Cronin Next weekend, I head for Dublin, Cork, Inchydoney and maybe Garyvoe - a visit to family and a time to catch up on happenings and news of friends. Every blessing to each one and a special prayer during this month for the Sisters in Germany. Their Provincial Chapter is a very special moment for them. Blessings to all readers!
