5TH. APRIL 2011 "ODE", RETREAT AND MORE BIRTHDAYS!
You will have guessed correctly that I did not film the "Ode to Inchydoney". Much of it was filmed years ago and then completed more recently.
Our young adults retreat went well. All said they were very happy to be here. The time was a good mix of prayer and activities. They finally left us when we were on Morava, - a plateau near our mountain-top. We had gone there in two furgons - minibusses. When the Berat group had left, we climbed to the Cross and the little icon chapel on the summit. It was a glorious day and ideal for us ten climbers.
On Sunday evening, we had a belated Birthday celebration for Servet - our proprietor! Today, we celebrate Xhoana's 10th. Birthday. Mirjam and I were invited to a midday party -"to take photographs with her classmates". I counted at least twelve, plus Xhoana and nine month old Thannasi. I was left in charge, while Ola and Mirjam went shopping! I was quite relieved when an adult appeared, but it was only to leave in another 9 year old!
We are having a special prayer Service for Lent tomorrow afternoon. Easter is nearer than the horizon, so, every blessing for the remainder of Lent.
